sopchoppy-harvest-growers-market-249x187-gif-versionThe Sopchoppy Harvest Grower's Market is now offered every Saturday from 11am to 3pm in front of Posh Java, Organics & Gifts, at the corner of Rose Street and Winthrop Avenue, in historic downtown Sopchoppy. The market features local organic and unsprayed vegetables, homemade, hand-ground fresh bread from Crescent Moon Farm, live music, and various demonstrations, events, vendors and activities.

Posh Java, Organics and Gifts offers baked goods, coffee, tea, smoothies, soup and sandwiches.  A natural grocery room featuring organic and gourmet food items is open, and fair trade and locally handcrafted gift items, local and world music, and bath and beauty items are also available for sale.

"We are presently seeking interested growers, seafood vendors, and people interested in offering children's activities," said Posh co-owner, Debbie Dix. "We are also interested in people who would like to offer eco-friendly and food-related demonstrations, and in performers who would like to share their talent during market hours."

We are accepting grower's and farmers who sell their OWN produce, seafood, etc.; No resale. The produce must be grown without pesticide and with organic method farming. Jennifer Taylor, FAMU Small Farms Program Director, visits the farms and growers to make sure they are growing accordingly.  We also allow licensed facilities and individuals who do organic and unsprayed canned items, jams, etc.  Growers and seafood vendors who meet these requirements and who wish to participate may phone Jennifer Taylor at (850)241-3873 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
