From the Publisher:

Dear Readers,

This weekend brings the Crawfordville Lion's Club St. Patrick's Day Celebration at Hudson Park in Crawfordville. Make sure to bring the family out for a day full of food, fun, carnival rides, arts and crafts vendors, entertainment and, of course, the St. Patty's Day Parade! This is always a great festival because the weather is usually perfect, and it's a good time to catch up with old friends and make some new ones!

I wanted to take a second to thank all the local photographers who so graciously share their pictures with us from the different events taking place around the county. If you don't see your pictures up immediately, it's just because it takes time to go through the pictures and prepare them for the site (and it's just me!). Due to the large number we are now receiving, we would like to ask that you limit your photos to your favorite 25 or 30. This will allow us to get the photos up quickly so that our friends and neighbors can begin to enjoy them soon after the event. Thanks for understanding our situation, and please continue to share with us! Some of our best photos on the site were taken by our wonderful local photogs!

The Crawfordville Woman's Club will be hosting a "Summer Camp Sign Up Day" on Saturday, April 28th. They are inviting all camps and churches to come out and show the community what types of programs they have to offer. This will be a great opportunity for both camp organizers and parents alike to get a jump on the registration process before school is out for the summer. If you are a church or camp program and would like to have a booth at the expo, please contact Heather Robison at 926-9149 or Tammy Metcalf at 926-2830. You can also email cvillevolunteer@aol.com . We will have a registration form available for downloading here on Wakulla.com within the next few days, so check back on the site for an official article with the form included.

Have a wonderful weekend, and hopefully we'll see you at Hudson Park this weekend!

Sincerely,

Mary Katherine Westmark
Publisher, Wakulla.com

P.S. We'll make sure we have your favorite candies for the parade!
