Charles Amos Golden was born in White County, Tennessee and was a resident of Panacea since 1987. He was of the Protestant faith and a veteran of the United States Air Force.
He is survived by one son: John Edward Golden and wife Sheri of Orlando; one stepson: Bobby Neal Pittman of Barnesville, Georgia, and two daughters: Anita Divers and husband Buddy, and Emily Johanna Golden, both from Orlando, Florida; one stepdaughter: Renee Pitman and husband David of Fayetteville, Georgia. He is also survived by five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
