Selling Wakulla County Homes every Day!

From the Publisher:

Dear Readers,

Hope you are all having a great week! Rec Park baseball, T-ball, etc. has started and we are a part of this for the first time in a while as our 6 year old is playing. This is his first foray into organized sports, and so far he is having a blast. I'm looking forward to all those evenings with the sand gnats; whoo hoo! Actually, it's a lot of fun watching those little guys trying to figure it all out on the field; they are pretty cute.

Just a quick rundown of this weekend's events:

Wakulla Presbyterian Church is having an Arts and Crafts Festival (their 2nd annual) at Hudson Park this Saturday from 10:00 to 3:00. Check it out; their should be some nice things for sale.

The Shell Point Volunteer Fires Dept. is hosting a Fish Fry and Pig Roast to benefit Chris and Mike Beatty of the Florida Wild Mammal Association. The event will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 at the Paradise Village of Shell Point Clubhouse. Come out and treat yourself to some really good eats for a great cause.

There will be huge yard sale and bake sale, as well as breakfast, at New Life Church this Saturday to benefit the Wakulla Pregnancy Center. The sale will start early and last most of the day.

The Sopchoppy United Methodist Women will also host a big yard sale in Sopchoppy at the L. L. Roberts Old Station (next to Ameris Bank) in Sopchoppy. Check that one out as well! There will be barbecue sold for lunch, too.

Be sure to check out all the announcement links below, as there are several events going on Wednesday and Thursday evenings, as well.

We are going to continue running our recycling poll until this Sunday, so if you haven't taken a second to answer it, please do!

Have a great week, and take care.

Sincerely,

Mary Katherine Westmark
Publisher, Wakulla.com

P.S. Don't forget to send us your birth, birthday, wedding and engagement announcements to us at This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it , and include a picture or two if you'd like! They are always free on Wakulla.com!
