From the Publisher:
Dear Readers,
Well, spring break is halfway over for Wakulla County students! I hope you are all enjoying your week, and this absolutely gorgeous weather. We've had a very busy week, taking care of some projects we've been trying to get to since January, and actually making a lot of headway. Our plan is to work hard, then kick back and listen to some great local entertainment at the Annual Sopchoppy Worm Gruntin' Festival this Saturday! We've missed the past couple of years, so we're really looking forward to it. The festival kicks off at 8:30 a.m. with the opening of the vendor booths. The day continues with the Worm Gruntin' Contest, and super musical entertainment throughout the day. The event ends with the family friendly Worm Grunter's Ball kicking off at 6:30 p.m. and wrapping up at around 10:00. Hope to see you there!
Today is the last day to nominate your favorite business to receive the first ever "Wakulla Area Business Excellence Award". The business does not have to be a Chamber member to be nominated. The winning business and the person who nominated them will be invited to attend the dinner. To easily nominate your favorite business, just visit www.wakulla.com and click on the "We're Looking for a Few Good Businesses" banner located on the lefthand side of the page. Just fill out our online form; it's quick and easy!! Thanks for your participation.
Have a wonderful rest of your week; see you in Sopchoppy!
