From the Publisher:

Dear Readers,

Saturday's weather is supposed to be beautiful, with temperatures in the upper 80's. I think that's perfect weather for the 36th annual Blue Crab Festival to be held May 1 at Woolley Park on beautiful Dickerson Bay in Panacea. This is one of the largest festivals held in Wakulla County, with tons of fresh seafood, arts & crafts vendors, live musical entertainment, the Mountain Dew Cloggers, and more! I don't know if you've heard yet, but a couple of contestants from the Japanese game show "Award Hunters" will be competing in both the Mullet Toss and the Crab Picking Contest. Their antics will be filmed for the game show, so Panacea will be even more famous than it already is! How fun is that? Sounds like "must see TV" to me! See our link below for more information about this years' festival.

We are in the process of putting together information for a "Summer Camp Guide" here on Wakulla.com . If your school, church, daycare, etc. is planning to hold a summer camp this summer, please let us know! Simply email the information directly to me at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and we will be sure to include it in our guide. We will feature a link from the front page of the site, and in our newsletter, to the Summer Camp Guide.

Also, if your church is hosting a Vacation Bible School this summer, please get the information to us as soon as possible, as well, so that we can begin posting the dates on Wakulla.com in our Church section.

Thanks again for your support! We are now reaching 5,000 readers through our weekly online newsletter and are averaging over 2,400 visitors a day who read 25,000+ pages!

Sincerely,

Mary Katherine Westmark
Publisher, Wakulla.com
