The Emerald Coast VolksSport Club will host a hike on June 12, 2010 at Wakulla Springs State Park.  Distances available are a 5K or 10K walk on the park trails to commemorate National Trails Day.   Walkers will register at the picnic tables inside the park (will be marked).  The walk will begin anytime between 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.  Plan to finish the walk by 2:00.

The trail is rated a 1+ and is difficult for strollers.  Anyone may walk.  An adult must accompany any child under 16.  All walkers must register, sign a standard waiver, and carry a start card, which must be returned whether or not the walk is completed.  Pre-registration is not required.  This event will take place rain or shine.

Cost:  To obtain IVV credit, the fee is $3.00/walker.  Walk only with no credit is free!  Donations are always appreciated and help defray publication costs and other fees.  There is a park entrance fee of $6.00 which covers 2-8 people per car.
