St. Marks Wildlife Refuge Excursion with Local Photographer Mike Carlton 

Hi All,

Went out to St. Marks with a photo group this past Sat.  Someone even caught me unawares with their camera.  Most of the migratory birds have moved on and with the weather so dry, it was slim pickings for photo subjects.  We did see an Owl nest with young.  Am including a cropped photo of one of them....very far from the road..... the photo is only to show that we saw them.  In one spot along the road still holding some water and dampness the Blue Flag was nice.  Of course there were the ever present 'gators....this one with a nice toothy grin.
