St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge Looking for Environmental Education Volunteers
{sidebar id=1}St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge is looking for Environmental Education Volunteers. If you like working with young people and making a difference in someone’s life by helping to connect them to nature, come to the Environmental Education (EE) volunteer meeting on Thurs. Sept. 4, 2008. New volunteers are asked to meet at the Education Cabin at 10:00 am. Returning volunteers are asked to arrive at noon for lunch and program assignments.
We already have a busy fall schedule. Keep in mind you don’t have to have a teaching or science background to help. The diversity of our EE volunteers is one thing that makes our programs a success. Last year we were able to reach over 7700 participants through our education programs both on and off site.
To sign up for the meeting or for more information you can call 850-925-6121 or email our education ranger, Lori Nicholson, at lori_nicholson@fws.gov
We look forward to hearing from you!
