Lake Jackson Mounds Archaeological State Park to Host Natural Talent Showcase
{sidebar id=1}The Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Lake Jackson Mounds Archeological State Park is hosting the Natural Men and Natural Women Organization talent showcase. The Natural Men and Natural Women Organization is a not-for-profit consortium of pro-active community environmentalists whose mission is to improve the lives of impoverished citizens through self, economic, community and cultural awareness. The organization is inviting the public to participate in their talent showcase which includes singing, dancing, story telling and poetry.
The event is free with the regular park entrance fee of $2.00 per carload of up to eight people and $1.00 per pedestrian or bicyclist. The fee is waived for all event participants. For more information, visit www.floridastateparks.org/lakejacksonmounds or www.nmanmo.com.
