Dove Club Permits Still Available for Two Areas
{sidebar id=1}The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) has Dove Club permits remaining for two of its special-opportunity dove fields.
As of Aug. 6, permits are available for Caravelle Ranch Wildlife Management Area (Putnam and Marion counties) and Brown Farm Public Small-Game Hunting Area (Holmes County). Caravelle Farms has six permits left, and Brown Farm has seven permits remaining. Permit sales end Sept. 9.
Dove Club permits can be purchased at county tax collectors’ offices, license vendors, wildlifelicense.com or by calling toll-free 1-888-HUNT-FLORIDA (486-8356).
Permits are sold on a first-come, first-served basis and allow one adult and one youth (under age 16) to participate in all scheduled hunts for a designated dove field (up to eight days). These Saturday, half-day hunts cost $150 and enable both the permit holder and youth to take a daily bag limit of birds each.
