Underwater Cleanup a Success; September 15 Reminder!

We had a great underwater cleanup this past Sunday, September 9.  Les Marshall, of Goin' Under Dive Services, organized our underwater cleanup.  Sunday was a great day.

Les's underwater cleanup became a surface cleanup.

Les's divers included:  Jeremy Zinser, Sharon Ashburn, Louis LaMarche and J.E. Sutton.  They pulled up just under 1,000 pounds of trash which included bottles, cans, a bedframe, nails, a pocket knife and a fossilized alligator tooth!

We accomplished a lot, and boaters were very appreciative.

Don't forget to bring your families to the Coastal Cleanup on Saturday, September 15th!
