and Awareness Day

Free T-shirt, water and lunch to first 500 participants!
How to Participate: We encourage groups of five or more to pre-register with our office as soon as possible. Groups will be assigned a designated area and will go directly to their meeting location. All other participants will meet with the site coordinator (Ranger David Moody) in the Visitor Center parking lot to get garbage bags and directions (map). Please return to the Visitor Center with garbage by 11:30 am. After returning from the field, take your bagged garbage to the weigh-in, and fill out a data card. When data card is turned in, each person will receive a ticket for lunch and T-Shirt. All exhibits will be at the refuge visitor center and education cabin.
