An investiture ceremony for Circuit Judge Kevin J. Carroll was held on January 20, 2012, at the Leon County Courthouse.

Judge Carroll officially took the bench on November 2, 2011, but the investiture is a formal public welcome and celebration held during a ceremonial session of Court.  Carroll fills the vacancy created by the retirement of Circuit Judge N. Sanders Sauls. 

“I greatly appreciate the opportunity to serve the citizens of the Second Judicial Circuit and will do my best to live up to the high standards set by all those who have served before," commented Judge Carroll.
