Speed Limits Reduced Near Medart Elementary School 

{sidebar id=3}The Florida Department of Transportation issued an alert that the Speed Limit near Medart  Elementary School will be reduced from 55 to 45 MPH.

At the request of concerned citizens and after careful study, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has made a decision to decrease the speed limit on State Road 375 (US 319) near Medart Elementary School zone from 55 MPH to 45 MPH.  Signs will be erected Thursday, February 7, 2008.  Currently, 45 MPH signs are posted on US 98.  The new signs will be posted on US 319 (State Road 375) in Medart .3 (three tenths) of a mile north of US 98.

Motorists are reminded to use caution and to obey the 45 mph speed limit.
