Tropical Storm Fay Debris Removal
{sidebar id=3}Citizens with homes impacted by flooding can place flood related debris at their roadside right of way (State or County); the county will remove it utilizing public works and inmate labor. We will only be removing debris associated with flooded homes.
We ask you to only place flood damaged items (carpet, refrigerators, furniture, personal items, etc.) at the roadside, construction and demolition debris will not be picked up. Please separate your debris by appliance, furniture, rugs, and chemicals. If you need assistance in getting debris to the roadway, please contact the Sheriff's Office and we will coordinate volunteers to assist you.
If you wish to take advantage of this program, please call 926.0800 and provide your address and information so we can schedule pickup. This program will be limited to areas directly impacted by flood waters.
