Pursuit of Robbery Suspect Ends in Wakulla County
It all started earlier this morning when deputies took the report of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was taken from a residence off of Forrest Run Ct. at approximately 6:30 a.m. A “BOLO” was issued that included a possible suspect, Aaron Clark.
At approximately 8:00 a.m. the Tallahassee Police Department received a complaint in reference to an attempted robbery to an individual in the parking lot of Syntech which is located at 100 Four Points Way. Officers from the Tallahassee Police Department responded to the area as well as deputies from the Sheriff’s Office. While officers were on scene at the aforementioned location another report of a robbery to a person was received by the Tallahassee Police Department. This one was a short distance away at the Florida Commerce Credit Union located at 777 Capital Circle SW. The second victim was walking way from the ATM when the incident occurred.
Officers on the scene discovered that the suspect in both cases matched that of the one described in the “BOLO” for the stolen vehicle. Both agencies worked in a collaborative effort to search for the suspect and to ensure that vital information was disseminated to everyone.
At approximately 2:00 p.m. Sgt. Kenneth Ganey was patrolling in the area of Natural Wells Rd. when he observed the suspect vehicle. He recognized the driver as the suspect in the “BOLO” and got behind it. The suspect then accelerated and eventually headed South on Woodville Highway. Sgt. Ganey was joined by other deputies who pursued the suspect vehicle into Wakulla County. The Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office was notified of the pursuit and responded to the area; however, the chase ended quickly when the suspect turned into Shields Marina and ultimately crashed into the support beams of a boat that was being repaired on the dock.
The suspect then attempted to flee on foot but was tackled by three employees who held him down until deputies arrived and took him into custody.

Sgt. Rob Reisinger said- “We are extremely proud of the effort that everyone made to capture this individual. We would also like to thank the three citizens of Wakulla County who risked their own personal safety to assist us in the capture of this dangerous individual.”
