New Website Showcases Lion Art in Azalea Park
A new website has just been brought online to showcase the designs that have graced the lion in Azalea Park over the past few years. Visit http://sites.google.com/site/crawfordvillelion/ to view the different "costumes" worn by our hometown lion during the different holiday seasons and other special occasions.
The slideshows are not yet comprehensive and we are happy to accept pictures of prior designs that you may have (credit will be given).
Painting the lion is a fun and inexpensive activity for adults and children alike. No artistic talent is required.
Visit the site and take a stroll down memory lane. You may even catch a glimpse of some of the painters in action!
Please send your photos to paintthelion@gmail.com .
