Florida Wild Mammal Association "Extreme Home Makeover" Update (by FWMA Volunteer Judy Cooke)
{sidebar id=1}Publisher's Note: As most of you know, the home of Chris, Mike and Jessica Beatty (who manage the Florida Wild Mammal Association on Edgar Poole Road) burned to the ground last week; the family lost all their personal belongings. Several of the FWMA volunteers and Wakulla County residents are looking into having the Extreme Home Makeover team come in and build a new home for them. Here is the latest update from FWMA volunteer Judy Cooke:
Currently, the Extreme Home Makeover application forms are being looked over by an attorney - just to make sure all the bases are covered. I hope to have the forms back with an approval from the lawyer - a wonderful man who has donated his time - no later than Sunday.
We will post the information everyone will need to complete the individual recommendation forms as soon as it becomes available. Please be patient. We want to do this the right way in hopes of seeing our effort succeed.
We will be asking for people to download the forms and MAIL them to Home Makeover. People have already started sending in e-mail requests to the show - which is truly a great thing, but the official entry form is also required. As soon as the information needed to complete those forms becomes available, you will receive them from me. For more information or questions on the Home Makeover effort, please email fwmamakeover@yahoo.com . This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it
Thank you so much for wanting to help with the effort. Chris and family are good, deeply caring people who always go that extra mile. Let's pray we can go that mile for them now!
Judy Cooke
