Rotary of Wakulla County President Marj Law thanks Dr. David Cho of the Southeastern Regional Cancer Center for speaking to the Rotary Club, the Optimist Club and the Senior Citizens of Wakulla County on Thursday, January 26th.

Dr. Cho attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston (MIT) and then went to the Medical College of Virginia.  He completed his oncology specialty at New York University.  He is board certified in Radiation Oncology and is a diplomat of the American Board of Radiology.

Dr. Cho gave a brief history of what has been learned about cancer and its treatments over the years.  He said the three major forms are skin, breast and prostate cancer and discussed some of the treatment options available now.

After his discussion at the Senior Citizens Center, Dr. Cho stayed to answer specific questions.  His audience commented that they appreciated his clear, understandable and intelligent delivery.
