Community and Businesses Came Together for Coastal Optimist Club School Supply Drive

Coastal Optimist Club School Supply Drive Brought Wakulla County Community and Businesses Together 

group with supplies fun 300.gif The Coastal Optimist Club of Wakulla County recently held their annual School Supply Drive Celebration in the Wakulla Bank Community Room at their Crawfordville location.  Participants had a great time eating pizza and distributing the many school supplies the community donated for children in the Wakulla County school system.

The Coastal Optimist Club would like to thank the Wakulla News for covering the event and taking pictures.  Thanks also to Wakulla.com for taking pictures at the celebration.  And special thanks to ABC News Channel 27 for coming down to cover the event.  The Optimist Club appreciates all the media coverage they received.

Miscellaneous items also donated:

Highlighters, small 3 ring binders, book covers, memo pads, day planner, primary paper, and many eraser packs.

The Coastal Optimist Club thanks everyone for their help and support on this drive that keeps donated supplies right here in Wakulla County.
