The Capital City Democratic Women's Club (CCDWC) announced today that  the 6th Annual Golden Legacy Award Luncheon will be held on Thursday, August 5, 2010 from 11:30 to 1:30 pm at the FSU Turnbull Conference Center at 555 West Pensacola Street.   The Keynote Speaker will be Chief Financial Officer Candidate Loranne Ausley.

The program will recognize prominent careers and contributions of national, statewide, and local activists who have served Florida for over fifty years including Senator Bob Graham, Congresswoman Carrie Meek, Governor LeRoy Collins’ family, and the family of Governor Lawton Chiles.  Our Democratic Leadership and Slate of Statewide Candidates will also be recognized.  Additional honorees from throughout the Region I area encompassing Leon, Wakulla, Gadsden, Jefferson, Franklin, and Gulf counties will also be honored during the program.
