Broward Sapp Wins Motorcycle from Premier Motor Cars

Football Fans Punt for Chance to Win Chevy Z71

The Wakulla Gridiron Club and Premier Motor Cars hosted their  "War Eagle Kick for a Truck" contest during halftime at the last home game of the War Eagle varsity football regular season.

Tickets were sold by football players and Gridiron members all during the 2006 season, and six names were drawn for the opportunity to simply kick a football into the bed of a Chevy Z71 pickup.

The contestants kicked in the order their names were drawn.  The first one to punt the ball into the bed of the truck without it bouncing out would be declared the winner.  The six lucky punters were Jim Griner, Nelson Nichols, Linda Langston, Tonia Liliman, Broward Sapp, and Mike Sloan.

Mike Sloan came closest when his punt hit the hood of the truck, but in the end, none of the kicks made it into the back of the truck.  Marty LIbby from Premier Motor Cars made sure that someone went home a winner, however.  All six names were placed back in the hat, and one name was drawn to win a 150 CC motorcycle.  The lucky winner was Broward Sapp.  Congratulations Broward!

The Gridiron Club would like to thank all of you who purchased a chance to punt for the truck.  The proceeds were used to take the boys to the Pensacola Pine Forest playoff game and to pay for their steak dinner before the game.  The Gridiron Club would especially like to thank Marty Libby and Premier Motor Cars for their support this season.
