Wakulla Government Wakulla County Hires Its First Professional Firefighters

Wakulla County Adds Six Professional Firefighters to Staff
Wakulla County has added six professional firefighters to its staff. Each member of this team is now on-board and serving the community with 24/7 coverage in addition to all of the current Volunteer Fire Department members. Funding has been secured for Fiscal Year 2007/08 as well.
County Administrator Ben Pingree thanked the Wakulla County Commissioners for funding the firefighters, and thanked the new team for their service and dedication to our citizens.
