Renovations to Hickory Park should begin no later than November 1, 2007 and should be completed by April 30, 2010. The park improvements include playground equipment, a tennis court, walking/bike trail, restroom, parking, security lighting and renovation of picnic facilities. Hickory Park is located behind Sonic on Crawfordville Highway (319), and is bordered by Hickory Avenue, Holly Avenue, and Cottonwood Street.
