Charlie Creel Earns Endorsement of Florida Highway Patrol Chapter of Police Benevolent Association
Charlie Creel’s ability to bring about “positive change” as sheriff of Wakulla County has prompted his endorsement from the Florida Highway Patrol Chapter of the Police Benevolent Association.
“The citizens of Wakulla County are worthy of your experience and they deserve a fresh outlook with new perspectives,” said Bill Smith, chapter president, in a press release.
The FHP chapter stated that Creel’s professionalism as a 30-year veteran trooper and his awareness of the community needs won the statewide nod of approval.
“You are a true professional, who is transparent and open minded. Your capabilities towards providing insight and knowledge to the community's concerns and needs will be significant towards establishing a positive change,” Smith said.

“These are my peers, the people that I worked with for over 30 years, who know the importance of dedicated professional law-enforcement and risk their lives everyday to prove it,” Creel said.
Creel’s endorsement “comes easy,” Smith said.
“Our organization is certain you will serve the citizens of Wakulla County with enormous pride and a distinction of service. We wish you great success and know that you will help contribute to creating a safer Wakulla County,” he said.
Creel, who is running with No Party Affiliation, is opposing the incumbent Wakulla County sheriff in the Nov. 4 General Election.
