National Day of Prayer Service was Great Experience
Last night I was honored to join Pioneer Baptist Church for a National Day of Prayer Service. Thank you to Pastor Dennis Hall and all the members of Pioneer Baptist for their hospitality. Their prayers for our families, county, country, and military are very touching. It is a humbling experience to have someone pray for you and ask God’s blessings and wisdom for you, specifically. I thank Pioneer Baptist Church and all the other members of our community who joins them in praying for the future of our county.
I was also impressed with Boy Scout Troop 5. They presented the flag during the service as well as raising and retiring the flag outside the church. Troop 5 was well represented and those who were present did an outstanding job. The Troop can be proud of its members and Wakulla County can be proud of Mr. Mario Rivieccio, Troop 5 Committee Chair, and all the other citizens who volunteer to lead our youth in Scout Troops and other activities. It is always my pleasure to participate in a small way in any activity held in Wakulla County.
Thank you for allowing me to serve.
