Let's Spread the Word Folks - Great Publication Here

For the past few months I've enjoyed very much our Wakulla Online Community resource here published by Fusione Group, LLC. and Mary K. Westmark.

Wakulla County, let's spread the word and if I may suggest, personally I have a great deal of online experience, however, within my own business I come across many who are not internet savvy.  For many the internet is relatively new and it can be overwhelming.  For example; eleven years ago, my wife and I purchased our first computer.  We spent all day trying to figure out the computer, etc., etc.  Our daughter, 12 years old at the time, came home from school and in five minutes had us up and running.  It wasn't that Mom and Dad were stupid here, even though our daughter probably thought we were.  But rather, the internet can be confusing.  So in addition to spreading the word, for those who know, please extend to others who are not what you might call "cyber space wizards" a few minutes of your time.  Think about how important this publication is and how readily available it is to all Wakulla County residents.

I view this publication as a very important resource and it should be a vital part of our county's future.  Great effort appears to go into this publication, lets use it, support it and lets spread the word.

Hugh:
Regarding your comments about our other local paper and the W.I.R., I believe that wakulla.com should be this counties main source for information. I have no ill feelings toward the other publications, but Preservation instead of Harvestation applies. Wakulla.com is eco-friendly and in todays world if you can Save a Tree, and help prevent pollution and protect un-necessary waste going to our landfills, that is the choice of precedence here in 2007. The Wakulla Newspaper does have an online website, however it is not in the same league as wakulla.com We need to look at the overall best interest, and our childrens and grandchildrens future. When it is time for us to pass on, it is my belief we need to leave this world with Wakulla County being just as good if not better for future generations.

Hugh;
My letter was to praise Wakulla.com, not to be utilized by you as a lead in to your political views. I will not engage into any political debates with you. I respect your opinion and rights to free speech, but please respect wakulla.com and the letters submitted for the purpose of which they're intended. It is Wakulla County that is important, not Hugh Taylors personal agenda. In that respect what can you Hugh Taylor do for our county?
I AGREE! YEP! YES SIRREEEE! THIS IS ONE GREAT SITE!

I too salute wakulla.com! For a while now, Wakulla.com and the Wakulla News have played important roles in the civic life of the county and as things go on, they will become more and more important. Wakulla.com will grow as the internet grows and that's important to the civic health of us all.

Keep in mind some others, though:
For a great non-profit newspaper keep up with The Wakulla Independent Reporter, sent to your mail box as it's published. Copies are available at wakullareporter.com

And, for fun, try the brand new Wakulla Noose, available at a BOCC meeting near you and online, wakullanoose.com. That is, if you attend the meetings, Mr. Cauley. You ought to. They're fun!

And for news about m'dog, try: http://wakulla--noir.blogspot.com/

We citizens need everything we can get to help with our big 3 -- Langston, Lawhon, and Brimner. After all, they're the ones who voted, 3/2, against "free speech day" in Wakulla County. And they're the ones who put arresting people for "tresspass" in their new "speaking" policy. Smacks of something bad, eh? So we need our media.

Yeah, spread the word!
YES! GREAT! I AGREE!

I absolutely agree with Mr. Cauley. The media in the county really, with the givens, plays it pretty straight. I congratulate both Wakulla.com and the Wakulla News with their coverage and their willingness to provide a forum for citizens. I agree. They are very important resources and are vital to the future.

Same with the Wakulla Independent Reporter:
http://wakullareporter.com/

And the Wakulla Noose:
http://wakullanoose.com/

And http://wakulla--noir.blogspot.com/

Actually, citizens need all the help they can get. When you have 3 commissioners who fail to vote for free speech day, you have a county with a big problem. If stuff that keeps up, Mr. Cauley might not be able to vent.

Keep up the excellent work, folks!

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM . . . . GOODIE!
