The event will actually kick off the night before, Friday the 20th, with the 3rd Annual Arthur L Andrews Memorial Scholarship Banquet, to be held at 7:00 p.m. at the Wakulla County Senior Citizens Center, 48 Michael Drive in Crawfordvile. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Ossiefield Anderson from Florida A&M University. Banquet tickets are $30 per person or $55 per couple, and are tax deductible. This banquet is the primary means of funding two $500 scholarships awarded to graduating Wakulla High School seniors each year.
{sidebar id=1}If you are interested in attending the banquet, you may send check or money order made payable to "WCCC" (Wakulla County Christian Coalition) to Bossie Hawkins at 1410 Lola Drive, Tallahassee FL 32301 or to WCCC, P O Box 456, Crawfordville FL 32326. If you want to save the cost of postage and time, you can also email bossieh@earthlink.net with confirmation of attendance and your tickets will be waiting for you at the door.

Don’t forget the parade and celebration in the park on the 21st!
