The UF/IFAS Wakulla County Extension office, in cooperation with the FAMU Small Business Development Center, announces upcoming training events in Wakulla County.
Starting Your Business
Tuesday, April 17th
5:30 - 7:00 p.m.
You’ve got the idea. Now you need to know how get on your way. Starting Your Business is a class that teaches just that. From how to determine feasibility and legal structure to the type of license you will need, this class covers all the essentials that will help you get started.
Writing a Business Plan that Gets Results
Tuesday, April 24th
5:30- 7:00 p.m.
No matter how large or small, all businesses need a business plan. This introductory workshop will explain and illustrate the business plan format, as well as, provide an overview of the contents of a good non-profit business plan.
Marketing and Branding Your Business
Tuesday, May 1st
5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
Developing a Marketing Plan for your business is essential to your business' success. Your business will benefit in several ways if you develop a comprehensive marketing strategy. This workshop will help you achieve your sales and marketing goals by understanding your products or services, customers and competition; and establishing your businesses brand.
