Wakulla County Chamber and CenturyLink Partner to Recognize Area Businesses

The Wakulla County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce our partnership with CenturyLink. CenturyLink is a leading provider of high-quality voice, broadband and video services over its advanced communications networks to consumers and businesses in 33 states.

{sidebar id=1}Under this partnership, CenturyLink will serve as the premier sponsor of the 2010 Wakulla County Chamber Business Excellence Awards. This event will recognize businesses in the following categories: Environmental Stewardship and the Chamber Business Excellence. Additionally, it will showcase the newly established, Community Business Excellence Award that encourages everyone in the community to nominate a business they believe best exemplifies excellence in business.

The Wakulla County Chamber Business Excellence and Environmental Stewardship Awards were established six years ago to recognize Wakulla County Chamber businesses for their outstanding achievements and contributions to the community. The Chamber Business Excellence Award is presented to a Chamber member that has excelled in their industry. To encourage environmental responsibility, the Environmental Stewardship Award recognizes a commercial or residential development that limits negative impact to the environment. With the addition of the Community Business Excellence Award, the Chamber will have yet another option to spotlight the businesses that make-up our community.
