Sopchoppy/Buckhorn Merchants Offer Chance To Win Free Gas/Food

Select merchants in the Sopchoppy/Buckhorn area are offering a chance for you to win FREE gas and food. A punch/signature card, listing each participating business, can be picked up at all Sopchoppy/Buckhorn participating businesses, at The Wakulla News, and around the county and in surrounding counties at other locations. {sidebar id=1}A drawing will be held on December 13, 2008, after Christmas in Sopchoppy, to determine the winner of a gift certificate for free groceries, and a gift certificate for free gasoline. The value of each gift certificate will be a minimum of $75 (depending on participation, and printing fees).

Once you pick up one of the punch cards, all you need to do to be eligible for the drawing is to go around to each business listed on the card, (addresses and phone numbers will be on the card), and get that business to sign your card; no purchase necessary. Then, you may drop off your card at “Posh,” located at 114 Municipal Ave., in downtown Sopchoppy, and you will be entered into the drawing to win FREE gas and FREE groceries.

Cards should be available beginning Friday, November 29, 2008. Most businesses are open Wednesday through Saturday, from 12 p.m. onward, (and many open earlier), so this would be the best time to get your entire card punched all at once.

Participating businesses in the Sopchoppy/Buckhorn area, so far, include: Scratch Cakes; Sopchoppy Tire; TLC Baby & Discount; Clip Art; Sopchoppy Nursery; Sally’s Place; Sopchoppy Hardware; Sister’s Antiques & Uniques; The Sopchoppy Grocery; Insurance Group of North Florida, Jim Stokley, agent; The Frog & the Hummingbird Co., Inc./The Paul Butterfield Fund and Society; Posh Gifts & Organics/Massage from the Heart; and The Backwoods Bistro.
