The Wakulla High School Web Design students were awarded their first national-level contract from NAMI-Wakulla, National Alliance on Mental Illness.
This joint venture entails the students designing and updating the NAMI-Wakulla website for the 2010-2011 school year. The WHS Web Design class was awarded funding from NAMI-Wakulla for the purpose of developing and maintining the NAMI-Wakulla website for one year.
Ms. Breda Arnell, instructor for the WHS Web Design program is extremely excited at the opportunity to provide her students with real “hands-on” experiences along with the required curriculum, thus providing a genuine, real-work connection between the classroom and the workforce.
