WHS Students Display their Artistic Talents at Art Exhibit in Panacea 

{sidebar id=3}Wakulla High School art students shared their creative work with parents, peers and the community on Opening Night, March 13 at the Wakulla Welcome Center in Panacea.  The sixty plus pieces of art are the winners of the annual Wakulla High Art Contest selected by members of the Wakulla Arts Coalition.  Wakulla High art teacher, Cassie Tucker presented Art Awards to the students. 

A big thank you to all who attended and support Wakulla’s young artists.  A special thanks to student Scott Kersey for cutting the wooden frames for several paintings and to Joseph Bonislawsky for photographing the event and students with their art. 

Best of Show was awarded to Lauren Gentry for her Chuck Close style painting.  More photos of the art exhibit,  which will be up until the second week in April, are available on Wakulla.com by clicking here .
