WHS Dramatis Personae Presents Annual Spring Production in March
The WHS Dramatis Personae will present its annual Spring Production the weekend of March 28, 29 and 30th. The Spring Production at Wakulla High is always a chance to get as many students as possible involved in a big production, so this year we went back to an old favorite, William Gleason’s classic spoof “The Clumsy Custard Horror Show and Ice Cream Clone Review”. This crazy play has references from of a lot of different famous movies, plays and TV shows from the 1970’s.
If you are a Star Wars fan or you like Dungeons and Dragons or fantasy books with mesmerizing storytellers, musical ushers, damsels in distress, befuddled rulers, scheming underlings, talking “heads”, swashbuckling heroes, hairy sidekicks, evil characters based on the names of synthetic fabrics (Dacron & Polyester) and a host of other well-known and wacky elements, then you do not want to miss this laugh-out-loud-audience-participation production.
This play has been performed twice before here at WHS starting back in 1985 then again in 2001 and now it is back again by popular demand. All members of previous casts and crews are welcomed back to re-live the fun and magic of this marvelous play. Remember the “Dancing Disco Knights”? Well, they’re back! So make plans now to attend this show that has something for the whole family.
The play opens to the public on Friday, March 28th and runs through Sunday, March 30th. Evening performances begin at 7:30 P.M. and the Matinee on Sunday begins at 2:30 P.M. Tickets are $4.00 for students and $6.00 for adults. Come support the amazing and talented students of Wakulla High’s “Dramatis Personae”.
