Shadeville Elementary School
23rd Annual Fall Festival to be Held
Autumn is here and it's time again for Shadeville Elementary School's 23rd Annual Fall Festival, to be held on Saturday October 28, 2006 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. There will be lots of fun, games and prizes at booths run by teachers and parent volunteers, including the popular Cake Walk, Giant Slide, Bingo, Jumping House, Face Painting, Roller Races, and the Hayride. Grandma's Attic will also be open with gently used treasures for everyone; come early to get first pick!
Attend the Coronation at 2:00 p.m., and then enjoy the live entertainment which will be provided by a host of local talent including the Mountain Dew Cloggers, Crawfordville TaeKwonDo Academy, USA Defense Academy, Dancing with Miss Denise, Wakulla Dance Academy, students from Michelle Snow School of Music, the Shadeville Warriorettes (our own twillers) and music from local bands.
There will be loads of good food available including hamburgers and hotdogs. Wash it all down with an ice cold drink or snow cone. Then stop by the wonderful room full of handmade baked goods (cakes, cupcakes, brownies, and cookies). On your way out don't forget to visit the "Pumpkin Patch" to pick out your Autumn Jack-O-Lantern.

The Festival is Shadeville's only fundraiser (in lieu of selling candy, wrapping paper or magazines) and is a major event put on by the PTO and the Shadeville Staff and Faculty. The festival is used to raise funds to provide educational benefits that may not otherwise be available to the students at Shadeville during this time of budget cuts and increased costs.
Don't miss out on this great day of family fun and don't forget to bring your friends! Shadeville Elementary School is located on Spring Creek Highway 1 mile north of Shadeville Highway (Hwy 61). Who knows? You might even get to see the "Great Pumpkin!"
