Message from Principal Robert Pearce of Medart Elementary School RE: H1N1 Vaccinations
{sidebar id=3}Hello and Happy New Year! This is Bobby Pearce, Principal of Medart Elementary School with an important H1N1 vaccination update. Today, January 7th, representatives from the Wakulla County Health Department will once again be at our school to offer H1N1 vaccinations.
It is recommended that children under 10 years of age have two vaccinations, four weeks apart. If your child was previously vaccinated and needs a second dose, this opportunity would be within the recommended time frame.
Parents must be present for students in kindergarten, first, second, or third grade to receive the vaccination. Students in 4th and 5th grade must have a signed parent consent form in order to be vaccinated. These shots will be available from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm in room 606.
As always, thank you for your support.
