Medart Elementary 4th Graders Take a Trip to Tallahassee's Mary Brogan Museum
The Medart Elementary 4th grade classes visited the Mary Brogan Museum in Tallahassee for their end-of-the-year field trip this past Friday, April 14, 2006.
The students were able to participate in all facets of the museum, including the Mind Games, a series of interactive exhibits; the Eco Lab, where they were treated to a presentation on amphibians and fish; the DINOSAURS exhibit, featuring Mesozoic Urban Legends; the art gallery, featuring TRANSITORY PATTERNS: Florida Women Artists, and Apalachicola River: An American Treasure; and finally the Exploration Class, where the students participated in a hands-on lesson on Exciting Electrons.
Once back at Medart, the students were treated to Pizza Hut pizza!
