The "Surf Was Up" for the 2007 Crawfordville Elementary School Spring Festival!

Crawfordville Elementary School Spring Festival Another Huge Success!

pie in face 250 A huge crowd turned out for the 2007 Crawfordville Elementary School Spring Festival on Saturday, March 24, 2007.  This year's theme was "Catch the Wave," and the surf was definitely up!  The weather was perfect, and families were out in droves to enjoy all the festival had to offer.  According to PTO President Kim Webb, the event raised $32,000 for Accelerated Reader books for the library, classroom needs, and other necessary items for CES.

There were several new booths this year, including the Sandy Candy booth and the Football Toss.  The three football toss winners received footballs signed by FSU Coach Bobby Bowden himself!  The Bingo games were a big hit as always, and the "Cream'em Pie Booth" was also very popular.

This year's top ticket sellers were:

1st Place:  Cassie Bentley
2nd Place:  Gabriel Barwick
3rd Place:  Skyler Wolverton

The top ticket sellers by grade were:

KIndergarten:  David Hartsfield
1st Grade:  Micah Pafford
2nd Grade:  Zach Norman
3rd Grade:  Brooke Allen
4th Grade:  Justen Dubay
5th Grade:  Macy Lee Allen

"Catch the Wave Spring Festival was a huge sucess," said Webb.  "Thanks to everyone who helped out in any way.  There is no way that a handful of people can pull off an event of this magnitude; it takes a community like this one to make it happen.

Thanks also to the CES PTO Council, CES parents, students, teachers, staff, and administrators.
