Monday Aug. 27 to be Early Release Day for Wakulla County Schools
Written by David Miller, Wakulla County Superintendent of Schools Sunday, 26 August 2012 15:09
This is Superintendent David Miller with an important message about Tropical Storm Issaac.
Based on information and input from Wakulla County Emergency Management, we will have an early release day tomorrow, August 27, 2012 to help facilitate those families needing to evacuate and avoid hazardous situations. The dismissal will be similar to the first day of school with the middle and high schools being released between 12:00pm and 12:30pm and the elementary schools being released at approximately 1:20pm. All School Board employees should plan on working regular school hours tomorrow.
I encourage you to stay tuned in to local television stations for storm updates. I will keep you informed of changes that impact the Wakulla County Schools as the storm approaches during the rest of the week. We will continue to use this source to keep you informed.
Thank you.
