Mama's Sweet Potato Souffle

6 to 8 large sweet potatos
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsps. vanilla
1 cup light brown sugar
1 can Pet milk
4 eggs
1/2 stick butter

Mash potatos.  Add in other ingredients. add enough of the Pet milk to get a good consistency.  Blend all with mixer.  If too thick, you can add a little water.  Cook at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

Topping

2 cups chopped pecans
1 cup light brown sugar
1/2 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine and sprinkle on top of sweet potatoes.  Place under broiler until golden and bubbly; watch constantly so it doesn't burn.
