Wakulla Wave 12U Girls Travel Softball Team will Compete in World Series

For the first time ever, Wakulla has a Girls Fastpitch Softball team in the World series. The Wakulla Wave 12U travel softball team is going to the USFA 2007 World Series. The competition is held in Panama City from July 8th through the 15th. The girls have traveled and played all spring and summer, and have worked hard for their chance to go.

We are looking for donations from anyone interested to help the girls pay for their trip. Please contact coach J.J. Langley at 926-9130 or Coach Walter Gray at 926-8132. This is a really big deal for Girls softball in Wakulla. It will give our county teams exposure and open the door for girls that have been looking to get into a sport just for them.
