TOF U14 Rovers Win 2008 Gulf Coast Invitational

{sidebar id=3}The Top of Florida (TOF) Under-14 (U14) Rovers won the Boys U14 Division at the 25th Annual Gulf Coast Invitational Soccer Tournament held in Pensacola on May 3 and 4. The Rovers shut out Bayside from Gulf Breeze, FL, 3-0 and lost to CFC United from Lake Charles , LA , 2-0 to finish second in their bracket and advance to the semi-finals. In the semi-finals, the Rovers beat the Pensacola Futbol Club on penalty kicks following a game that ended tied 1-1 after regulation and 2-2 after overtime. In the championship game, the Rovers beat CFC United 1-0 in a rematch.

The Rovers are coached by Quinton Williams and include the following players from the Tallahassee area: Mathew Antworth, Ben Arnoldy, Jake Autrey, Chance Delgado, Stephen Fredrickson, Thomas Geeker, Daniel Harrell, Bryant McBride, Brandon McCall, Austin Musgrave, Ben Remke, Mathew Salib, Federico Segovia, Colby Sowerby, Ashton Whitt, and Quinton Williams.
