The All Big Bend Swim Team for the 2010 area high schools has been announced.  Joey Briggs, the only Wakulla resident, was named to the team.

He made the All Big Bend Team by placing 14th in the 500 Yard Freestyle, 14th in the 100 Yard Freestyle, and swimming the anchor leg of the 4 x 50 Yard Freestyle Relay, which placed 12th.  

Rickards Swimming Head Coach, Keith Munsey, was pleased with Joey's performance, pointing out “Briggs is only a sophomore, only 14 years old, and he’s already placing at State, against 17, 18 and 19 year olds." 

Rickards teammates Jordan Cason, Jennifer Griffith, Andrew Chen, Preston Turnage and Riley Ralston were named to the All Big Bend Second Team.
