Registration is now open for the USTA Jr. Team Tennis using the QuickStart format.  Registration is for children ages 5 – 10 years of age.

The session will be held on Saturday mornings from 10-11am at the Wakulla High School Tennis Courts beginning April 23 – June 18.  The registration deadline is April 23, 2011. 

Costs: $35 league fee (includes Nike team jersey) and $19 one year USTA junior membership.  An exclusive offer of a free recquet and balls is available if you join both USTA and QuickStart program. 

The QuickStart tennis format is a new and innovative way for kids 10 and under to learn to play tennis.  The racquet sizes, the balls, the net height, the court sizes, and even the scoring system have been adjusted to ease the children’s entry into the sport.  Just like other popular sports with youth versions, the QuickStart format stresses the importance of play and friendly team competition.
