Wakulla Middle School Football Team Wins Season Opener
The Wildcats of Wakulla Middle School won their season opener in front of a large crowd of fans in Medart against Havana Middle School Thursday night, August 30th with a score of 14 - 0. Wakulla’s offense controlled the ball game from the opening kick-off with outstanding performances by Fullback Kevin James, Quarterback Will Thomas and the entire offensive line: Jacob Thomas, Kyle Bradley, Nick Bowen, Andrew Wilson, and John Brown.
The Wakulla Middle School defense shut down Havana Middle School holding a rather large and talented team to less than 80 total offensive yards. The defensive line comprised of Jeffrey Miller, Brandon Busby, Anthony Lanier, Tamarac Holmes and Brandon Radebaugh, spearheaded the defensive effort.
The team travels to North Florida Christian Tuesday evening, September 4th.
