The Wakulla High School Baseball Team will be hosting the Fourth Annual Houston Taff Memorial Alumni Baseball Game on Saturday, February 18, 2012.

The fun will begin around 11am and will provide families the opportunity to enjoy a day of baseball, delicious food and reminiscing about “the good ole days.”  The game will be played at Houston Taff Field at Wakulla High School.

The 2012 WHS Baseball team will be selling chicken dinner tickets for $10 to help support this year’s needs of the team.  Delicious grilled chicken, Sonny’s baked beans, Posey’s cole slaw, bread and an icy cold beverage will be served at the game.  Come watch and see how those former WHS All Stars can compete in the year 2012!  Alumni can participate in the game for a $10 donation.  The event will also feature a Home Run Derby.

Tuesday, February 14th kicks off the first home game for our 2012 Wakulla High School Baseball Team.  They will be taking on the talented and competitive Lincoln High school team at 6pm. Coach Mike Gauger and Coach Keith Anderson have been working with the players both mentally and physically over the past few weeks strengthening their skills and techniques in preparation for the upcoming pre-season tournament.
