Wakulla County Teachers Are Appreciated
This week is Teacher Appreciation Week, and I wanted to say a few words about the work these special people do. My six-year-old twins started school in August at Crawfordville Elementary School. They are in separate classes, but have been in a team-teacher setting this year.
{sidebar id=1}I cannot say enough great things about Ms. Elise Barwick and Ms. Jan Pearce. It has been a wonderful year -- both exciting and scary at the same time. Ms. Barwick and Ms. Pearce have gone above and beyond my expectations with our children. They have shown love, discipline, and patience. They proved how the transition from Pre-K to kindergarten can be achieved.
The children have learned so much this year. They are reading books, writing sentences, and loving the school experience. With their wonderful teachers, our children have done so many special things that they will never forget: collected bugs, cooked food, painted, and utilized a store to explain how money works.
Our family just wanted to take this time to thank our children's teachers as well as all of the other school employees who educate our children, feed our children, and help discipline them as well. Please remember our teachers this week!
