Road Construction Being Done on Wakulla/Arran and Jack Crum Roads
{sidebar id=1}Today is the day!
Travel on two roads will be adversely impacted due to construction beginning today. This is a good thing! Wakulla/Arran and Jack Crum Roads will have construction equipment on them beginning today and you need to be careful as you drive these roads. Expect slowdowns and delays. This is your tax funds paying for needed infrastructure upgrades.
County crews will be paving Wakulla/Arran starting at Cajer Posey and ending at Spring Creek Highway using county funds. This arterial road will allow more people to take Spring Creek Highway and Wakulla Spring Road to Tallahassee and reduce traffic on Crawfordville Highway. Now we need to pave Old Shell Point Road so our citizens will have another direct route to work and entertainment in Tallahassee and further reduce traffic on Crawfordville Highway. We can do it!
Peavy Construction will be repaving Jack Crum Road from Hwy 98 to Spring Creek Highway using State Provided Small County Outreach Program dollars that must be used for repaving projects. I know all our citizens who live in Shell Point and Spring Creek will appreciate this upgrade—it is well overdue.
Be careful out there!
