Girls Softball Teams Doing Great Job
Thanks to Dawn Hill I stay informed of how our female softball teams are doing. I think they are doing great and thought I would share their successes with you.
The following is a good example of how our young ladies are representing Wakulla County. Our 10U team and 16U teams competed with teams from across our region, including South Georgia and did very will. My congratulations to our girls and their families. If you see one of these girls (or their parents, grandparents) please give them a hearty congrats from the whole county. This tournament was a very large tournament and it was only the 4th tournament ever for the 10U girls and the 2nd tournament at 16U for the older girls (last year the 14U competed in a younger class).
Wakulla County has fast pitch travel teams again. Keep a look out on Wakulla.com and the Wakulla News for when they are playing. This is another of the growing list of things we can do in our community—fun and healthy!
Below is a list of teams and the place that each team took last weekend.

The 14U/16U team consists of Amber Priest (Pitcher), Breonna Hill (Pitcher), Chelsea Sanders, Rebecca Rivers, Olivia Garcia, Breighly Bolton, Kristen Taylor, Taylor Eglton, Brittany Barns, Mollie Whiddon, Chris Romanus, and Sharaine Murray. These girls are going to be a part of the Wakulla High School softball team so let’s root them on. They took 18th in the state last year at 14U.
CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL WHO PARTICIPATED, COACHED, OR CHEERED!
